The kit that makes camp work. All-terrain collapsible wagons for hauling gear in from the rig, and oversized tent floor mats that keep the awning zone clean. Unglamorous, essential, built to take a beating.
330 lb hauling capacity and 81 square feet of clean ground. Full specifications on each product page.
The parts of camp nobody photographs and everybody needs. An all-terrain collapsible wagon with 330 lb capacity and 6 inch wheels that roll on sand instead of digging in, and a 9 by 9 foot three-layer tent floor mat that keeps dirt out of the tent.
Wheel size is the whole story on a wagon. Small hard wheels are fine on pavement and useless on a beach or a gravel campground. The ground mat goes under the awning or in front of the tent door rather than under the tent itself, where it would trap water between two layers.

Why a Collapsible Wagon Changes How You Camp
The vehicle parks where the vehicle can park. Camp is often somewhere else: past a bollard, across grass, down a track too narrow to drive. That gap is where a trip starts badly, with five round trips carrying gear two armfuls at a time.
A folding wagon collapses that into one. The TrailMate S6 carries 150 litres and 330 lbs, which in practice means the tent, the chairs, the cooler and the water all move together while you make one walk instead of five.
It also works in reverse at the end of a trip, when everything is wet, sandy, and nobody wants to be there. That is usually the moment people decide a wagon was worth it.
What Separates a Heavy Duty Collapsible Wagon From a Cheap One
Most folding wagon carts look identical in a photo. Four things decide whether yours survives past the second season:
- Wheel width. This is the one that matters most and the one nobody checks. Narrow casters cut into sand and gravel and stop dead. The TrailMate runs 6 inch wide PVC wheels, which float over soft ground instead of digging a trench in it. A wagon that will not roll on sand is a wagon for car parks.
- Frame and finish. Powder-coated Q195 steel. The coating is not cosmetic: a bare or thinly painted frame rusts at every weld after one damp season in a truck bed.
- Floor construction. A PE honeycomb floor panel stays flat under load. A fabric-only floor bows into a hammock shape as soon as you put weight in it, and everything slides to the middle.
- Fabric. 600D Oxford with a PVC coating, tear and water resistant. It also strips off and washes, which matters when someone puts a leaking cooler in it.
One more detail that sounds trivial until it is not: the handle does not touch the ground and auto-stands. Park on a slope with a conventional wagon and the handle drops, then the wagon follows it. Load it with your camp chairs and gear and that stops being funny.
Tent Floor Mats: The Cheapest Upgrade to a Camp
Sand and dust do not stay outside on their own. They come in on feet, on gear, on the dog, and once they are in the sleeping area they stay for the trip. A ground mat under the awning is the barrier that stops that cycle.
The ISIAY MAX gives you 9 feet by 9 feet, which is 81 square feet of clean floor, in three layers that each do a job:
- Water-repellent polyester top. Sheds spills and damp rather than soaking them up, and sweeps clean.
- Needle-punched cotton middle. Cushioning, so it is comfortable to sit or kneel on rather than being a tarp.
- Aluminium film base. Blocks moisture rising from the ground and reflects heat back up instead of letting it drain away into cold earth.
It suits SUV and tailgate setups, and it works just as well as a picnic, beach or festival footprint. Pair it with an awning or tent and the outdoor living area stops being dirt.

Are These Worth the Space?
Yes, if you camp from a vehicle and stay somewhere more than a night. These are the two pieces of car camping kit nobody puts on a wish list and everybody borrows once they have seen one in use.
No, if you park beside your pitch every time and never move gear more than ten feet, or if you are backpacking. The wagon weighs 19 lbs folded, and that only pays for itself when there is ground to cross. See the rest of the setup in camping gear.
Camp Accessories FAQ
How much can a collapsible wagon actually carry?
The TrailMate S6 is rated to 330 lbs with 150 litres of volume, and the load surface carries 300 lbs static. In practice that is a full camp load: tent, chairs, cooler and water in one trip instead of five.
Will a folding wagon work on sand?
Only if the wheels are wide enough. This one runs 6 inch wide PVC wheels, which spread the load and roll over soft ground. Narrow casters, the kind on most cheap wagons, cut straight in and stop. Wheel width is the spec to check before you buy anything else.
How small does it fold?
Down to 19.3 inches by 14.9 inches with a four-way convergent fold, at 19.2 lbs. That fits in a boot alongside the rest of the gear rather than instead of it, which is the whole argument for a collapsible wagon over a rigid cart.
Is a camping wagon only for camping?
No, and this is why they get used more than most gear. The same wagon hauls kit to the beach, to a festival, to a sports pitch, or up the garden. It earns its storage space across the year rather than four weekends of it.
What does a tent floor mat actually do?
It stops sand, dust and ground moisture coming up into the living area, and it stops gear being ground into the dirt. A three-layer mat adds cushioning and a moisture barrier, so it is a floor rather than just a tarp.
Is this the same as a sleeping mat?
No. This is a ground mat for the outdoor living space, under an awning or in front of a tailgate. If you want insulation and padding to sleep on, that is a sleeping pad, and those are in the cots, pads and air mattresses category.
Is the ground mat waterproof?
The top layer is water-repellent and the aluminium film base is moisture-proof, so it sheds spills from above and blocks damp rising from below. That is not the same as a sealed groundsheet rated for standing water, and we would rather say so than let you find out.
